•1997 – Began working in a laundry room of a modest home in the Woodlands – Working ONLY with refugee families from Bosnia.;•1999 – Rented an office and an apartment in West Houston(courtesy of Zenith Real-estate) to house convalescing children - Beneficiaries increased by 400%;•2002 – Moved into our own facilities in West Houston; •2002 – Doubled size of our facilities; •2004 – Beneficiaries crossed the 1,000 mark;•2007 – Beneficiaries increased to over 3,000;•2009 – Beneficiaries increased to over 7,000; •2013 – Beneficiaries increased over 100%; Additionally:•The House of Charity Healing Home has provided over 1,000 surgeries worth $5 million free for indigent children and youth;•28 vehicles have been donated; •Over 400 local families have been provided with groceries and daily necessities every month;•Over 5,000 children and their families have been provided with warm meals, clothing and hygiene packs;•Over $40,000 worth of furniturehas been donated to displaced families;•Over 2,000 local children have been assisted with school supplies and Christmas gifts.•Set up, equipped Free Medical Clinic and Dispensary ;•Set up Children’s Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Center in Asia that provides medical & surgical treatment to 600 children monthly.

VISION: Since 1997 House of Charity has been growing from a medical mission project to a nonprofit organization with an array of prevention and safety for children and their families. Faithful to our mission of improving the quality of life of underprivileged and impoverished children and youth we have been implementing projects to provide medical & surgical attention, safety & prevention education, essential supplies and disaster relief. We envision a world in which all children receive the opportunity to develop into healthy and compassionate adults regardless of their financial condition.

The House of Charity was founded in 1997. The organization is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code with Tax ID# 76-0534271. All services provided are FREE and without discrimination.
The House of Charity is dedicated to helping underprivileged children, so they can achieve their full potential in Houston and beyond.
